As we come together at the arcadia of diplomacy facilitated at the University of Dhaka, we are reminded that this campus is not merely a collection of buildings, but a living testament to academic excellence and intellectual pursuit. For over a century, it has stood as the epitome of learning, nurturing generations of thinkers, leaders, and change-makers who have shaped our nation and the world. Now, As you step into the shoes of the world leaders, I must remind you, my dear delegates, to utilize the intellectual resources of this campus, those provided to you by us, at the fullest. Our theme for DUNMUN 2025, "The Rule of Law Amidst Global Paradigm Shifts: Ensuring Justice, Equality and Accountability", is more pertinent than ever as we traverse through one of the challenging times in the history of mankind. In an cra marked by rapid transformations, geopolitical realignments, and complex challenges, the foundational principles of justice, equality, and accountability are often tested. Hence, 1 urge the delegates to gain a deep understanding of how rule of law can be upheld and strengthened, ensuring that no one is left behind and that governance remains fair and transparent, even as the global landscape shifts beneath our feet. If I have to answer why we construct our arguments centered around the rule of law in DUNMUN 2025, I'd point towards our surroundings as we observe what happens in its absence. Since we will be delving into the simulation of Model UN, I want my delegates to realize the significance of diplomacy, not just in the grand scheme but also at the minute levels of human life.
